Hike San Diego is comprised of people who love the outdoors and who want to create positive impact in their communities. The organization is growing and we are looking for additional volunteers to help us move our mission and vision forward. Education & Outreach Coordinator
Time commitment: 5-10 hours per week
The Coordinator of Education & Outreach will be responsible for overall program development, administration, and supervision of all education programs for Hike San Diego. The coordinator will develop and oversee implementation of programs for students and members of the public. The coordinator will be a key liaison between school administrators and staff, as well as other non-profit organizations and community partners.
Time commitment: 2-5 hours per week
The Volunteer Coordinator will develop, promote, and maintain a wide range of volunteer opportunities within the organization. The coordinator will also identify community outreach opportunities such as education fairs, festivals, local markets and organizations, and other community events. Evaluate all aspects of volunteer programs to ensure effectiveness and to recommend/implement changes as appropriate.
